Lighting Design and Consulting.
Description
I have extreme sensitivity to short wavelength blue light. With mounting evidence of the eye-damage caused by screens and certain types of overhead lights, I've been called a "canary in a coal mine". Except instead of a bird detecting gas to save people in a coal mine, it's more like I'm a human in prison of poison light, who is experiencing very quickly that which is happening to most people very slowly.
As a result, I've had to learn so much about light, lighting sources, and ways to mitigate lights that cause pain and damage.
If you're concerned about the increasing ubiquity of blinding lights, and you'd like any help designing lighting for your space, or to talk about what I've learned about lighting while trying to cope with my own sensitivity, I'm available to help.
