A stunning 19th-century French figural clock featuring the celebrated sculpture “Fortune Guiding Love” by Auguste Moreau (1834-1917). The bronze-finished spelter figure depicts Fortune, gracefully leading Cupid (Love), symbolizing destiny and affection intertwined. The sculpture rests upon a richly detailed clock base crafted in red marble with ornate gilt-metal mounts.
