Description
The IR-02 Transparent is one of four infrared-blocking glasses in our new Made in Italy line, all unisex.
The lenses block up to 91% of IR light (780-2000 nm), which is enough to defeat most facial recognition systems currently deployed in Europe and elsewhere. They also provide full UV protection and reduce blue light from screens and LEDs.
Frames are made from a plant-derived cellulose sourced from cotton and wood fibers, with a metal core in the temples and reinforced hinges. It's biodegradable, durable, and lightweight. Each frame goes through precise finishing and quality control in Italy, and we accept refunds for genuine defects.
The transparent frame is the most understated in the line. The clear material shows the construction directly. Paired with gray lenses, it is a frame that does not announce itself. Fit-tested across 100+ people, it works well on oval, round, square, and heart-shaped faces.
