Automated Secure File Deletion Script with AES Encryption (Linux) [irreversible]
Description
"secureDelete.sh" is a powerful Bash script designed to securely erase all subfolders within the home directory on Linux (Ubuntu) systems. By utilizing industry standard encryption techniques, such as AES and entropy mixing, this script generates a unique random key for each deletion, ensuring that any recovered data is rendered unrecoverable.
Important Notice: This script should only be used on machines where sensitive data needs to be permanently deleted, as it does not provide a reversible recovery option. Before running the script, ensure you have backups of important files and understand the irreversible nature of this process.
How to use:
chmod +x ./secureDelete.sh
After purchasing, you will automatically be able to download secureDelete.sh (1 KB).
