Description

100 single-use test strips for screening powders and liquids for nitazene analogues.

Nitazenes (benzimidazole opioids) are synthetic opioids that can be more potent than fentanyl, and they turn up in both opioid and non-opioid samples. These strips pick up a range of nitazene analogues at a sensitivity of 2000 ng/mL and give a result in about a minute.

Included: 100 individually sealed strips, instruction sheet.

Short version of the method: bring strips and sample to room temperature. Dissolve 5-10 mg of sample in 5 ml of water and stir. Dip the strip to the wavy lines, not past the solid line, for 10-15 seconds. Lay it flat and wait for the lines. Control line plus test line is negative. Control line on its own is positive. Read before 10 minutes.

Each strip is single use and works best within an hour of opening the pouch. Presumptive test only - it tells you nitazene may be present, not how much. Not a lab analysis.
