Description

CBG isolate is a highly purified form of cannabigerol (CBG), one of the many cannabinoids found in cannabis. CBG is often referred to as the "mother" or "stem cell" cannabinoid because it is the precursor from which other cannabinoids like THC, CBD, and CBC are synthesized as the cannabis plant matures.

CBG (Cannabigerol) is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid that does not produce the "high" commonly associated with THC. It’s gaining popularity for its potential therapeutic properties, which may include anti-inflammatory, analgesic (pain-relieving), antibacterial, and neuroprotective effects.

It’s found in very small quantities in most cannabis strains, which makes extracting and isolating it a bit more challenging compared to more abundant cannabinoids like THC and CBD. However, certain cannabis cultivars are being bred to have higher levels of CBG.

CBG as a precursor: As the cannabis plant grows, it produces CBG in the early stages of development, which is then converted into other cannabinoids like THC and CBD. Because of this, CBG is often more abundant in younger cannabis plants.
