Tallow is a powerful moisturizer loaded with a wealth of nutrients, essential fatty acids and antioxidants. Tallow is non-comedogenic (totally compatible with our skin because of it’s similar fatty-acid profile). We infuse our tallow with our home-grown rosemary to prevent oxidative damage! Tallow is also packed with bioavailable vitamins and nutrients that your skin needs for optimal health: fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E &; K ⬇️

Vitamin A: supports healthy cell turnover for a fresher complexion.

Vitamin D: has the ability to restore vibrancy in skin.

Vitamin E: is known to promote rejuvenation of the skin by fighting free radicals that can cause wrinkles and has also been shown to prevent the breakdown of collagen.

Vitamin K: reduces the appearance of uneven skin tone and assists in reducing the appearance of scars.

Unheated Honey: when applied to the skin, honey increases circulation which encourages a natural, healthy radiance. Honey is a humectant; it helps your skin absorb and retain moisture (keeps it from drying out!). Honey is packed with natural antioxidants and anti-microbial properties which help protect, repair and prevent skin damage. Honey is also calming to the skin; as an anti-irritant, products containing honey are beneficial for sensitive skin. Ours is unheated; this means it has not undergone treatment and processing that can lower the nutrient quality (your typical supermarket-honey has likely been heated many times and treated so that it is more viscous and pours easier).

Olive oil: is packed with healthy vitamins, fats, and antioxidants, and these components can contribute to healthier-looking skin. The antioxidants in extra virgin olive oil help prevent cellular damage produced by chemicals known as free radicals and can help to improve signs of aging. In fact, olive oil was one of the first products used for body care in the ancient civilizations of the Mediterranean.

USAGE RECOMMENDATIONS

Moisturizer: Apply a small amount to cleansed face and gently massage until fully absorbed.
Skin Irritations: Apply directly to affected areas for targeted relief.
Safe for babies, moms, and pregnant women.
Sunburn: apply generous amount on affected area.

Helpful tip
If the tallow takes longer than 15-20 minutes to absorb into your skin, you might be using too much. Consider using a smaller amount for your next application.
