Description

Nvidia CMP 170HX 8GB mining gpu. Can be unlocked to 64GB using cmpunlocker's jailbreak (I can show you how to use the jailbreak, but if you haven't heard about it, it's great). This card is fantastic for running LLMs. Is powered by a CPU 8-pin connector. Product will include a 2xPCie 8-Pin to CPU 8-Pin cable. This GPU does not have the capacitor upgrade, so it is currently limited to PCie x4. I'll relist it when the capacitor upgrade is available

This GPU only has a heatsink for cooling, so you should pair it with a blower fan if using it outside of a server setting. It's also headless with no video output.

I've obtained this GPU from another ebay seller, timdu_6920. The original description was "This item is used and may contain some cosmetic flaws but is a fully functional mining card. You may want to repad/repaste but they have all worked and ran at decent temps when housed in an Octominer. You will need a robust cooling system as these cards are passively cooled. I’ve given them a wipe down and compressed air for some dust."
