if we are dealing with packages in the mail, for me to mediate fairly, I NEED the sender of the package to film every step of the counting, packaging and tracking number. I will also NEED, the recipient to film collecting and opening the package. I will also need the tracking number. If one side doesn't have an unedited filming as requested, I will automatically mediate against him. I have many years of dealing with packages personally so I know how it works and won't waste my time with excuses.
For digital goods, gift cards, assume you will always have to dispute, so record all steps and everything you do including redeeming. What I need to see or view varies on a case by case basis so always be prepared to provide anything requested.
When it comes to gift cards, there are multiple scenarios, im not going top spell out the risks, as I don't want to give people ideas, but I will clarify that one if the biggest issues is brokered gift cards. IF you are brokering, do NOT ask me to mediate. if its clear to me you are brokering I will mediate against you. I will be asking for receipts and proof of purchase, however that won't be the only metric I look at, so make sure you understand from the beginning that I will find out.
Mediation will rely solely on listing descriptions and whatever terms you agree to. So before going ahead, make sure you understand what the listing is selling or describing. if there are any agreements in addition to that, make sure it's been agreed to in the trade. Anything agreed to after me being brought in, will not be used in making any decisions. I understand that scammers can attempt to change the narrative later on in the trade. I will not intervene, but it will make zero influence on my decision.
Despite this being a privacy platform, if you are going to use legacy financial products or services, there will eventuate the necessity of me verifying peoples ID. You agree that by using any form of banking or wallet or card service that you consent to accepting my request for this in any way that I deem necessary to enable me to come up to a valid decision. I have a professional email that documents can be submitted directly if you prefer, and everything will be deleted within a month of dispute resolution.
