Multisig Opt-Out (default for boosted listings)

I think it would be a great improvement if Multisig would be opt out and not opt in. This would greatly increase the amount and it's easier to identify scammers if they turn it of (with extra effort).

Especially I would see the benefits for that for boosted listings (not only opt in, but default). People with capital boosting their product to the sky, people will get scammed, for sure. If the price is higher than the boost price, they will always make profit.

What do you think?

I agree that multisig should be on by default.

More benefits:
- I think escrow should be default. This would make scam very difficult and the site easier for beginners.

- everybody would get used to it over time, from the beginning. Also the escrow economy would grow proportional to the amount of new listings.

- you could make it default starting from a certain price of listing if people need a compromise

I agree and the process is simple, but it should be even simpler.

It should be written in a very easy way, almost for children.

Some customers who use it for the first time feel confused and uncomfortable, because it is not immediately clear what they have to do.

Making the instructions shorter, clearer, and more visual would help everyone understand the process without stress

I mostly agree however escrow isn't useful for certain products e.g. some digital ones which don't allow verifying they are legit without redeeming them, speaking from experience selling gifts cards. Which wouldn't be such an issue if the alternative of bonds was reasonable priced and without a subscription (see https://xmrbazaar.com/forum/topic/135/)

This is true it would help against scammers. But it also makes it harder for legitimate users. People who build up a reputation based on no escrow are infinitely more trusted than just escrowed trades (Perhaps XmrBazaar should differentiate escrowed trades vs non escrowed on reviews {maybe even a trustworthy score generated based on non escrowed trades + $ value + the profiles reviewing to weed out fake accounts. So high valued accounts rating high $ amount non escrowed trades would boost the “trust score” the most} but that may be too much) Anyways. The other issue is that it may turn off new users because the current way escrow works is just terrible for the avg dumb Joe. Maybe that’s not the target audience though. Only tech savvy privacy enthusiasts here. In that case it might then attract certain law enforcement to be more likely to shutdown the site given its not “a listings site” but a full on “marketplace”.
