Hello everyone! I want to offer math tutoring in the bazaar. I have two questions to ask the people here:

1. Is there any demand for this? I've seen a couple of other tutors, and I'd like to engage in trading my skills for Monero.
2. What would be your privacy and anonymity concerns in a tutoring session? I usually do a live video call on Jitsi Meet. How would you like the configuration to be?

Thank you for your time!

Demand:
The unfortunate reality is that people mostly use xmr for things that they'd rather not use normal payment methods for. Who is the client base for math tutoring? I imagine people studying in higher education and below, so an age range of 10-40? That age range is being a bit generous on both ends, maybe a fairer one would be 10-25. Do these people inherently have any interest in using crypto as payment? Unlikely. Your best bet would be to first find your client base and then try to recommend they pay you in crypto. Tho definitely look into Agorist groups, seems like a potential base.

However, getting eyes on yourself and making sure anyone who wants to pay for tutoring with xmr can find you, is the most important thing. Join groups, make a website, post on forums where allowed, make it easy for that person to find you.

Platform:
Matrix has the function of voice calling with screen sharing if you need those. I think the platform depends on the client, some might like discord or telegram if they don't care too much about privacy. Others might prefer signal / simplex / matrix/ etc , but you'll have to see which program has the best balance of features and privacy for whoever

I think there's little demand for people that want to pay tutoring with Monero, unless someone make a whole ecosystem like Brilliant where you can use whatever payment system then that site swap that money to monero for your payment.

Imo your best bet is offering your skill to people that need to analyze or organizing data. I'm sure there's lot of math problem that need to be solved there
