Lets get straight to the point, your average normal citizen don't know how to use monero. Yeah we got the best privacy feature in town and they cannot beat Monero even after delisting it off the majority of exchange. But if the final goal of Monero is for people can easily get familiar with the crypto then we need more seamless way for people to use Monero or in a way, they don't even realize that they actively supporting the ecosystem.
One of the biggest struggle for Monero adoption is the way people can get access to the cryptocurrency. Sure you can use RetoSwap, Haveno etc. But it's too complicated. In order to fulfill your desire for example, buy a simple food, you must know a tons of stuff. How to navigate the DEX, how much money you need to swap, which vendor is trusted. The desire to buy a simple food will vanished before you even trying as a normal person.
It is a challenge for sure but I think there is a solution for this. The answer is integrated Exchange within that marketplace payment itself. I'm sure most of you heard crypto payment gateway like NowPayment. It basically a service that help user receive any crypto and automatically swap it to one preferred crypto choice. One of the best feature of this service is the fact it is possible for you to sign up to receive feature like Fiat to Crypto Payment. Now customer don't need to think anything. They can pay using Fiat money but you receive that money in the form of crypto. Now people can buy on a whim as they desire.
But this is such a complicated solution that i think it's a headache to implement in a marketplace. Especially that marketplace such as XmrBazaar do not hold people funds, they just become a bridge for people to meet and exchange goods and services. Not only you need to deal with the programming where you need capable server and enough maintainer of the site to make it smooth you also need to deal with legal issue if any problem arise.
