There are many criticism thrown at XmrBazaar. The most prominent criticism is that the UI sucks etc. Most criticism is just a personal taste different. The truth is this site working perfectly as intended, the structure is solid. Looking at the positive side, I realize that XmrBazaar as a platform really give huge benefit to Monero community that is anonymous by nature. People love to kept their identity here. It's not like you're not allowed to share it publicly.

But one of the downfall of being anonymous is that nobody know if you're trustworthy. This is where XmrBazaar shine as a platform. You can build your own reputation. Nobody care about who you are. Just focus on providing good and service and you can thrive.

That is why this "Online Store" really interesting. It will allow people to not just stuck at XmrBazaar. They can set up their store here and gain customer traffic elsewhere. Basically it's like your own little market in the corner of XmrBazaar. You can search customer in social media like Instagram or X and lead them here for them to see all of your product. Plus there is the escrow benefit. People will feel safe that there is a security in place for their funds.

I'm not saying that it will be instant success in a day, but I can see the potential usage of this feature. Can't wait for the update. My deepest appreciation for the dev that work on this site.

The site has somewhat of a loser base so I can't see a store being a benefit. The scammers and bad sellers greatly outnumber any legit buyers or sellers. How can it possibly help besides another clutter of things that people don't want, if it continues on its path of mostly scammers, account sales, hack tools, drugs etc.. it will most likely be shut down. I would have cleaned up the existing site first before wasting my time on coding a store.

You're looking from the wrong lenses. Yes it is true that if we only depend on the customer from XmrBazaar alone there's really not much prospect for now. But what about the people outside XmrBazaar? You can go to Youtube or Twitter to gain follower then people will want to buy your service or product. The usual path is then we create website to accommodate these people that want to buy our goods. The downside however is that maintain a website cost money and if you haven't yet build a stable business you won't be able to host the website for long yourself.

This is where the strength of XmrBazaar come in. People can set up a profile and make a listing here. They can use this site like a mini site to use. It similar to how Facebook work. Each profile is their own place. People will go to that profile because it has what they want. That's why Facebook develop their own marketplace inside the site and its effect toward P2P economy cannot be underestimated. They also suffer from the same problem like us which there are many scammer roaming the marketplace. Yet people still use Facebook marketplace because it's useful to sell stuff.

It'a not a matter of looking through the right lenses. It's an issue of demographics and usage and advertising. You're looking ahead to the future with a dream and I'm looking at the present and the past. The user base has not grown, the ads have not improved. They're worse now than they were a year ago. When you weed through the garbage the rest is just existing services which is generally despised by people, why would I visit a marketplace to look at ads for web hosting ? That is neither unique or genuinely for sale and offers no benefit to the buyer. A website full of this is just useless.

Yeah you're talking different matter than what I focused on this thread topic. You're talking why should people be interested in this site that filled with service that already exist somewhere else.

What I focused on is using this site as a free personal website to funnel our follower that want to be our customer. Other listing is irrelevant.

For example, if you're as famous as Michael Jackson creating real value to the world, people will follow you anywhere even at the edge of the world.
