If you see a listing you are confident is ILLEGAL and you have clear evidence, PLEASE report it using the “Report listing” button!
EXAMPLE:
You are about to buy a smartphone. You request the IMEI, check it on stolenphonechecker.org or swappa.com/imei, and find it is reported stolen. The listing is now de-facto illegal (stolen goods). No one else knows this. It is your duty to report it immediately!
(Do not use the "Report listing" button just to attack competitors, settle personal scores, or make baseless reports. Abuse of the report system will itself result in action against your account.)
Users who loudly claim the platform is full of “illegal” listings but never actually report a single one using the provided tool are not helping. They are either being toxic or actively sabotaging the platform (sometimes by posting illegal content from other accounts themselves).
Every report is reviewed. The large majority of confirmed illegal or high-risk listings are removed. Moderation only works when the community uses the tools instead of just complaining/accusing each other and the platform in the forum.
Baseless accusations and false claims against XmrBazaar and/or reputable users, made without evidence or proper reports, may and will result in a permanent account ban.
UPD: If a long-standing reputable seller or well-known Monero / XmrBazaar community member believes they are being targeted by false accusations, they should post a reply in this thread, @mention the user they believe is making the false accusations (so that they receive a notification), and publicly request proof. If the user who posted the (allegedly) false accusation fails to provide clear public evidence within 48 hours, their account will be banned.

How the XmrBazaar Report System Works: Earn Trust Points and Become a De Facto Moderator
(Reposted from my now-banned X account, 2025-05-11)
In response to the recent flood of illegal posts, we're empowering the XmrBazaar community to fight back. It's us vs. them, and as our platform grows, we’re becoming a target. Here's how YOU can help keep XmrBazaar safe, earn trust points, and become a moderator through our new reporting system!
Report Illegal Listings and Earn Trust Points:
Any user can report a listing by clicking "Report Listing" on the listing page. Focus on blatantly illegal content (e.g., CP, drugs etc.). Avoid "concern" reports. If the admin confirms your report and deletes the listing, you gain a positive report score.
Enough positive points make you a moderator, and all your future reports will auto-hide listings.
False reports (if the admin reactivates a listing) give you a negative report score, reducing your trust.
Moderators:
Reports by users on our moderators list or with enough positive report score (from valid past reports) will auto-hide listings from search, homepage, and profiles instantly. This also deletes images and digital files from the server.
New Users:
If you have a low/negative report score, your report won’t auto-hide the listing but will notify the admin for review. This prevents bad actors from abusing the system with new accounts. If the admin confirms your report and deletes the listing, you gain a positive report score.
Reported Users:
If a user’s listing is reported and confirmed, all their future listings are auto-hidden until manually approved by the admin.
If a report is false and the listing is reactivated, the user can list normally again, and the reporter loses trust points.
TL;DR
- Report illegal listings to earn a positive report score.
- Enough points = you’re effectively a moderator, auto-hiding listings with all your reports.
- False reports = negative score, losing trust and moderator privileges.
- "Concern"/false reports may hurt your score.
Let’s keep XmrBazaar safe together! Report wisely and join the fight against illegal content. Post your questions or concerns in the comments.
Note: Report scores are not visible and users' power to hide listings (moderators) are not known.

I don't normally visit the forum, but was pointed to this thread by a fellow-user.
From what is written here, I should no longer report the "kyc help/assistance" listings because you always kept them in the past, despite clearly being illegal identity theft disguised. Some of them are even boosted. Otherwise I hurt my own report score. Yeah, that is really an improvement...

In keeping with the presumption of innocence, all listings are presumed legitimate until proven otherwise. As stated in the post, any accusation requires concrete proof: suspicions or personal opinions do not constitute evidence. Should you provide proof of identity theft, the listing will be removed immediately and account banned.

That's total alibism and you know it :)
Just one example...
How should I prove that when someone lists KYC bypass, that it is illegal (and no matter how they disguise the wording in the listing)? Do you know that the KYC data being sold must belong to a real person who gets in real danger?
We need a list of example items that are good and that are forbidden, period. For example: KYC: forbidden, accounts: allowed, drugs (prescription or not, because that varies by country): forbidden, hacking/spam tools, viruses: forbidden, nazi stuff: forbidden, credit card info: forbidden, all-caps listing titles: forbidden, etc...
If this was my decision, the simple rule would be "if you can't list it on ebay, then don't list it here". This XmrBazaar has the unique property of trading in crypto, has no fees, etc. thus - no, defining clear rules would not make it another ebay.
You want dark and shady stuff here on the clearnet, your call. I will stop reporting listings. But don't complain in the future when you have issues with the law.

Thank you Aillia for being such amazing support for the community. Yeah we really need to protect each other as a community especially against bully and toxic people that have no intention other than malice and sabotaging the P2P economy that XmrBazaar providing. Having a clear explanation of the report button can ease some people worry.
