Guitar Syntax Guide, the GPS of fretboard
Description
This guide consists of 3 parts and several videos, screencast + me with guitar showing the concepts. It takes you from learning to use the major scale with numbers 1-7, across all the strings. Then realizing there is only 5 shapes of chords and they relate to strings. All other chords are essentially modification of these. We learn that each shape consist from nucleus 5 1 3 and we learn to modify this nucleus to other chord types - major, minor, 7th. There is extra video on chord construction the conventional way and formula of harmonized major scale. Just for completion, but it is not essential to understand this to use the guitar syntax. Its just that if will ring the bell....then there is the final Guitar Syntax, the GPS which is how the name says, simple syntax, telling you what where to do, and you are in diatonic harmony. All the theory works in background, you utilize the fretboards nature to take advantage of it. The guide may seem nerdy....but its simple language...and its made for people who really want to unlock the fretboard. Its the AHA moment.
