Description

Here’s the deal.
I’m a poor sod who somehow ended up living in an amazing place in the mountains of Asturias, Spain. I have a big house that I recently renovated and split into two apartments. I’ve rented it out a few times before, but this is my first ad here, and I thought I’d try a slightly different approach.
So here’s the offer:
Come visit Parque Natural de Redes in Asturias and get a free vacation stay for a week.
Yes, really.
Of course there’s a small catch, but nothing too dramatic.

The Properties
There are two options available.
1. My house – where the downstairs apartment is available. (entire house also, see further below)
2. A friend’s place about an hour away – they rent rooms at reasonable prices.
This ad mainly focuses on my place, but I can also help arrange the other one if needed.
The house has space for families or groups, and it’s pet-friendly.

OPTIONS
FREE
1. First guests special
The first guests who book through this ad can stay for free for a week as per option 1 of paid stays.
If you want some of the extra services and enjoy your stay, you can simply tip whatever you feel like.

ALMOST FREE
If you’re another poor soul who just needs a break:
• Tell me your story
• Help out with something if you can
• Pay whatever you can afford to cover some costs
Availability depends on the season.
High season is April – September, but the place is rarely fully booked, so just ask.

PAID OPTIONS
Starting budget and going up:
1. Self-service apartment
You get the downstairs apartment and manage everything yourself.
Just leave it in the same condition you found it.
2a. Apartment + services
Same apartment, but you can add services.
2b. My friend’s place
Rooms at my friend’s house about one hour away, at reasonable prices.
3. Entire house
If you book well in advance, you can rent the entire house.
I’ll move out of the upstairs apartment and you’ll have the whole place.

FREE

PAID SERVICES
1. Stocked fridge and bar on arrival
Send a shopping list.
(Ask about the barbecue package.)
2. Cleaning services
Daily, occasional, or just after checkout.
3. Very slow room service
Send me an order and I’ll deliver it the next day.
4. Taxi service
Airport pickup/drop-off or local trips.
Either me (if available) or a local taxi.

FREAKING EXPENSIVE
You get me as your personal driver and guide.
On call. With car.
Happy to show you around the mountains.

BOOKING
Even for free stays, I ask for a temporary booking deposit.
€100 for a week.
This is deducted from the stay or refunded once we meet and confirm everything.
Security deposit on arrival: €200 per week for damages.
For reference:
Typical market prices around here are about:
• €400/week in high season
• €250/week in low season
for the downstairs apartment.

Payment in XMR , other crypto, or FIAT.

ABOUT THE PLACE
The house sits with unobstructed mountain views, surrounded by nature on all sides, but only a short walk to the village.
The downstairs apartment includes:
• One large open room
• Bathroom
• Storage space
• Fully equipped kitchen
• Parking right outside the door
Sleeping arrangements:
• 1 queen-size bed
• 1 extra queen mattress
• Large couch (fits 2–3 kids or two friendly adults)
The garden is fully enclosed and includes:
• Barbecue
• Fire pit
• Fruit trees

LOCATION
Less than 1 hour from Gijón.
Perfect for day trips to:
• The beach
• Ski resorts
• National parks
Activities nearby:
• Hiking
• Bird watching
• Night mountain drives
• Wildlife spotting
There are lots of animals around, so drive carefully on the way here.
Also some excellent local restaurants nearby.

RULES
• No animals that would eat my cats (scaring them is acceptable).
• No tobacco inside the house.
• Parties are fine, but keep it reasonable — don’t scare the animals or annoy neighbors in the village.
• Leave the place in good condition.
• Give me a review and tell your friends.
