Limited Time Offer: I'm charging 0.5 XMR/hour billed in 2 hour blocks of time.

Due to having no reputation on here and the large sums of XMR a development project could cost, I'm currently willing to bill *after* each 2 hour block of time. This will be a limited time offer. My standard rate will rise to (roughly) 1.5 XMR/hour and the terms will change to my being pre-paid for each 8 hour block of time.

I am very good at what I do and therefore I am not cheap. My rate and terms are non-negotiable.

I will NOT work for "equity" of any kind. Please do not ask.

Open source should be free (as in speech) but is not sustainable if it's free (as in beer).

About Me

I have over 28 years of development experience starting from building simple websites to now consulting with Fortune 500 companies where I build (primarily internally facing) web and mobile applications.

I have extensive experience with devops as well and have written thousands of lines of Ansible and Terraform modules.

I also have decades of experience with SQL. These days I primarily work with PostgreSQL.

Most recently I have focused on "rescue projects" where a team has become stuck (typically after a year or two of "moving fast and breaking things") and need someone experienced to come in and get them back on track. I have saved many projects that thought their only option was a rewrite (that they couldn't afford) and was able to rearchitect large codebases in place so that they could keep delivering value to their customers.

PHP, Ruby, Rust, Bash, SQL, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript (Frontend JavaScript only. I do not do backend JavaScript.) are my primary languages.

I have had multi-year commitments with some companies providing leadership and technical guidance outside of getting my hands dirty writing code.

If necessary I can act as a tech leader and mentor for an existing team and provide them with education on how best to solve the problems they're having.

I guarantee that all work WILL BE DONE BY ME and I will sign all commits in the delivered git repository with the GPG private key that pairs with the public key I use on XMR Bazaar.

All hiring parties will be provided with a group chat on an acceptable E2EE messenger for communications. Any other communications platforms will be used at my discretion.

The hiring party will be responsible for spinning up any services that are required (eg Heroku, Linode, AWS, issue tracking, etc) and supplying me with a login if that is a service that is desired of me.
