After installing samfwtoolsetup_v5.4.zip, the scammer tungtata stole the funds from the Feather Wallet. After the theft, they removed and modified the original tool package to reduce evidence. Scammer tungtata about to target new victims.
What I need from you:
Post warnings about Samfw scams on Twitter/X, Facebook, Reddit, Discord, and other social platforms.
Share awareness through forum posts, community threads, and blog posts.
Encourage people not to trust paid promotions or “safe tool” reviews that may be misleading.
Goal: prevent more people from falling for this scam and drive attention to it publicly. Malwarebytes Senior Research Engineer confirmed that the tool contain malware by running a test on SamFwToolSetup and detecting a malicious payload.
They found “Trojan.dropper” in SamFw Tool means it’s typically installs or delivers additional malicious software to your system after it runs.

This is meant to warn people about tool scams: don’t download or install unknown tools on your computer. I was scammed by samfw, and I’m doing my best to alert others and raise public awareness.

I’ve been scammed by Samfw, and I’m doing everything I can to warn others not to fall for this Vietnamese scammer. They are using sophisticated methods to connect to your device and steal credentials, accounts, and wallet funds. Please take this seriously and protect yourselves. Also do not believe Trustpilot reviews. Scammer tungtata buys them to fake it.

A random person with no reputation and no online accounts at anywhere is adding me and demanding upfront payment. I asked him bitcointalk account, he said no. I asked him XmrBazaar account, he said no. Then claim he’ll “do something,” but what he really mean is he might just remove the chat after payment. If you’re this kind of person, please don’t bother contacting me or wasting my time. I’m not that naive just talking and requesting payment upfront.
I will request proof and I will ask about your reputation. If you can’t provide evidence and you have no accounts anywhere, don’t contact me. I will not pay you upfront. So simple.
He told me he doesn’t have an account anywhere, so I asked him to share his Bitcointalk or XmrBazaar account so I could check whether he’s trusted or has a reputation. All he said, he have none. But it turns out he’s coming here with a bad comment. Really funny!
I was still willing to work with him, but he decided not to continue then he started commenting here as if he “lost” something. After reading his comment, I’m glad I didn’t end up working with this guy.
This is for public awareness: do not trust “samfw tools.”
