Description

You get access to a signal numberless account which is a paid feature by signal. This lets you register for a signal account without using a phone number. (the ownership of this account is permanent).
Though Signal currently only has option to pay with either google play billing or apple pay which many people may not like using. So this offer allows people to buy accounts without needing to give their payment information to google/apple and own a signal account in a anonymous way. The original price set by signal for numberless account is around $4-5. The markup i have added in this ad is for convenience cost to me for using my payment info for purchasing it.
(Note - this feature is still in beta as on date of posting). You need to download signal app having version greater than 8.28.0. Download it from github releases https://github.com/signalapp/Signal-Android/releases or from obtanium. Pls check you have downloaded the right version of the app and its giving you option to restore account through a numberless account. (it might be hidden in 3 dots menu on restore account screen) before taking this offer. It should also work on graphene OS but haven't tested it specifically on it.

In short - Signal app generates a Account ID and recovery key on paying for a subscription through google playstore. This account ID is independent and not tied to any email or phone number . You need to enter the account ID and recovery key to login into this account. Once you login, you can can reset the recovery code and add a second factor authentication to your account . This will safeguard your account from takeover from the previous owner. Please save your new recovery code and **Do not lose your account id and recovery id** under any circumstances as there is no alternative method to recover this account.
If you lose your recovery code after changing it , there is no way for me to recover it or provide refund for it. (In any case ,if you face any problem subsequently i am willing to solve it)

Note - Currently you cannot migrate your existing account to this new account , you will have to start fresh and chat backup from other account cannot be restored to this account. Signal devs are working on supporting migration in future.
