MARKET CONTEXT:
The zero-knowledge proof market is projected at $5-10B by 2030. Hashing accounts for 50%+ of proving cost in STARK systems and 20-40% in SNARK Merkle and commitment-heavy workloads.

This primitive cuts hash cost by 2-5x at matched security across every major backend, and is the only algebraic hash that runs natively in Circle STARK provers where the industry standard is currently blocked entirely. Next-generation provers can only use a degree-2 hash. This is currently the only one on the market.

A 2-5x hash reduction maps to 25-40% total prove-cost reduction in STARK systems; low-double-digit percent in hash-heavy SNARK circuits. For any production L2 or zkVM with meaningful proving infrastructure spend, that is seven-figure annual savings per integration.
