Meshtastic Solar Powered Node
Description
I'm selling a Meshtastic fully configured solar powered wireless node. Deploy these in your area to communicate location and text messages with your friends and family even in a grid down event. These operate independently of your local ISP and wireless service providers. Before ordering I ask that you do some research on what these will and will not do. Meshtastic LoRa technology allows you to pair an Android or iPhone to a node that will form a mesh network with other nodes around it.
In my area of Tulsa Oklahoma, I place these about every 1 mile away on telephone poles to knit together a mesh network. By default, when you send a message from your node, it will hop over a max of 7 nodes to attempt to get to the intended recipient. You can create private encrypted chat to protect your messages from peering eyes.
For $250 in XMR you will receive a completely setup solar powered node. This includes RakWireless WisBlock Starter Kit with an upgraded 10dbi antenna mounted to a small inconspicuous black ABS enclosure. This is dual powered by a 3000+ mAh Lithium Polymer (Lipo) battery and a 6 watt solar panel. This 6 watt of solar is enough to keep the node powered indefinitely. In my area, this battery never drops below 95%, meaning the solar recharges it each night.
When ordering, please specify the country (so I can configure the frequency), short name (up to 4 characters - like JS1) and long name (up to 32 characters - like "South Barn Node").
I will need about a week to assemble and configure, but I will stay in touch through the build process.
