Description
Grew some fresh lemon balm this season, and did a low heat extraction of the dried leaves in 100% Italian extra virgin olive oil.
Melted with USA organic yellow beeswax (in a 4:1 ratio) and a little organic butter and a few drops of tea tree oil.
Smells great, and lemon balm is known to be good for reducing cold sores. This salve is also good for itchy skin.
I'm going to make another batch soon.
