I face a problem, where an empty autoreg buys something from me, leaves a negative review and disappears, dropping overall account rating. Now, this has happened approx. 7 times, and majority of cases were justified (eg. autodelivered account was frozen) — yet I have always replaced the account + also refunded / gave a gift (as an extra). Yet, likely unintentionally (just by deleting the autoreg), people have never changed the review after (potentially haven't even claimed the replacement).

Now, having a 4.93 instead of a 5.00 is not a big deal, but it's sad when it's undeserved. I also am frustrated to see how other people on the Bazaar succeed to keep the 5.00 rating (eg. MoneroMAGO, 5.00 @ 281 review) potentially by just being lucky to have adequate clients.

• One way to somewhat fix this is to give the seller ability leave comments under reviews got — so the seller can "answer", or rather "explain their side of the story".

• Another way to fix such problem I saw once is that negative review gets hidden, if the seller refunds fully.

• Another way to fix this is to hide reviews from accounts marked as scammers, and let users create tickets for admins to manually check that some review is wrong (maliciously or unintentionally). this will likely load admins with work, specially considering fake requests. admins may request a payment for each manual verification — drawback here could be potential ancapisation of the market anarchism.

• The average score could also be made rounder (eg. only one digit after dot shown: 4.9, 4.8...) to give less weight to single random negative reviews.

What do you think? Am I overseeing the problem here, or is this really worth a fix? If yes, what's your proposals?

P.S. eventually, it's also an easy tool for market violence, when average score means a lot, and single negative review weights too much, while is free, anonymous and realistic, if not spammed with.
P.S.S. I remember how one guy got scammed on this bazaar 5$, but told me he won't write a review review about it, since them he'll also get a negative review back, and it will damage him more than 5$.

i agree being able to comment on reviews would be a good start.

>Another way to fix such problem I saw once is that negative review gets hidden, if the seller refunds fully.
how would that work since bazaar does not handle transactions, it would still require the reviewer to agree they have been refunded right?
maybe there could be some automation where the seller can trigger a order has been refunded and the buyer can choose yes/no and based on that the review gets marked "user has been refunded".

I think adding a separate comment under every review is overly cumbersome and bloated. Low-frequency traders won’t mind, but what about high-frequency sellers like CypherPink? Do they need to leave comments for every buyer and then comments on those comments?

My suggestion: two options.

A. If I sell an item and both parties leave reviews, show my review to the buyer for buyer's review as the comment (i.e., each party’s review is displayed on both users’ pages simultaneously). Maybe use a subtitle?

B. If A is too complex, only show the reciprocal review when either party leaves a rating below 3 stars.
