I hate to say but the UI is simple but the browsing is shitty. If this platform wants to provide a better UX we need better default page with the possibility to set a region as default search so see non digital listings, to encourage the hole p2p selling of goods like on eBay tax free (unless vendor) but using monero as payment.

Maybe make the default page when logged in into a proper dashboard split into header , your listings status and notifications regarding messages. than an physical goods section, a service section and than a digital goods section which are all searchable tabs like iframes or so. So the hole SMS , Crypto , Service what ever is split.
Physical goods has everyone, everyone needs Monero. Promote selling of that stuff instead of mainly promoting boosted shit and digital products.

People should focus primary on the content posted by users remove all this distractions please.
If no capable web dev's are around ask in the monero community for support and give the monero community like a part ownership in the platform and share revenue which goes in the beginning into further developing the site and later on it would be a revenue stream to fund community projects. Maybe combine that community taking part ownership combined with a donation fund by the monero community which than would organize the dev work etc.
Why would I donate? Monero Community is skilled and knows how to handle money for dev work by now. The UI is shit and needs a redo (not fully but the landing page etc needs to be normie friendly).

Make it possible to set a currency for all listings, since yeah we like Monero
but if i want to compare with ease than i would have to click into the listing and then see the price in $ otherwise i would have to calc which avg. users dont do since its pointless mind space wasted. i want to see directly if the listing of my search results have a fair price or not. eBay is awesome because of auctions but we cant do that here without a proper user base otherwise, you just would gift stuff away for a cheap price because 1/2 people are giving a bid.

I delete my listings please make UI improvements and I will be back!

Make default currency to set for listings which follows the default ($ because that what average joe uses for valuations / user setting xmr / € / Yen etc.

For the marketplace sponsorship, I think it's a good idea to give sponsor its own space rather than fitted inside the marketplace banner. We can utilize the right side of the website dedicated to sponsor banner only. Also to attract more sponsor, we should offer them help to make the banner design for their sponsor. If the site gather enough money by itself then added with the donation funds, I think we can make it better faster.

Note that the fact this website offered us the ability to find each other to do business with privacy coin is a milestone on itself. The Monero user usually fragmented across the globe, now even my grandma probably know how to shop here if she know English. It just the usual problem with freedom project, it takes time and alot of energy to realize. And I think that is what make this site has its appeal, the fact that there's no hidden agenda and they just wanna realize a vision that all of us can only dream of.
