He will obviously receive his funds once the waiting period ends and the troubleshooting option becomes available. Regarding the refund of the difference, I understand your point about it potentially creating the wrong expectations toward mediators

I also think Camylopez is right. In the heat of the moment he simply made a series of bad decisions.
Spamming my listings, creating fake accounts for harassment purposes and creating a topic with false accusations unfortunately damaged his own credibility more than mine

Nothing of these would happen if you handle the case properly. That was your bad decision of ignoring my suggestion of passing me your seed. You should have taken steps to make sure the exchange was completed and given me your key so I wouldn't have to wait 7 days to get my money back. Escrow could be improved, but it wasn't the system that made me unhappy with the exchange. It was your ignorance and unwillingness to resolve the problem in a way satisfactory to everyone that caused my anger.

You should also stop you false accusations of me harassing you and using fake accounts for this purpose. Justice requires that to accuse someone one must have conclusive evidence of their guilt. Accusing someone based on assumptions creates room for manipulation and thus leads to unfair judgments.

If I get my money back, I'll stop feeling cheated and will remove the comment from your profile. I'll also ask the admin to change the title of this thread to something like 'bad experiences with mediator Proteus'.

Update : 7 days have passed and the refund has now been requested as announced

Also AilliA contrary to what nobs suggested I would honestly prefer the topic title to remain unchanged. People will read the thread out of curiosity and I think they'll quickly realise that the exchange ironically turned against his bad faith

I confirm that I received refund from escrow. I removed comment from his listing. I wanted to change title of this thread as well, since scam accusations are outdated in this case, but I don't see option to do it.

AilliA can you change title of this thread to "bad experience with mediator", please? Scam accusations are outdated, but I still think it could be handled better by him.
