1. In the summer, Discord required users to verify their age with a photo or facial scan.

2. Yesterday Discord has been hacked — attackers gained access to the data of users who contacted the platform's support service and security department.

As a result of the incident, the following were compromised: photos of documents (such as passports or driver's licenses), usernames, nicknames, email addresses, and the last four digits of bank cards. Was the KYC really worth it?
