This is a brand-new, complete, pre-assembled set of 3 LoRa radios - (2x portable handhelds + 1x solar-powered "security camera" repeater). Designed for long-range, grid-independent communication. Often times the Meshtastic devices you see advertised don't tell you that it's a kit that you have to assemble and flash firmware onto, program, etc.. This set completely ready to go, no assembly required, just power on and start communicating.

Can be paired to an app on any old phone and allows you to text just like normal and control advanced settings. You can also read info and send short replies directly from the handheld units.

(No one will suspect it’s a radio repeater. It does not actually function as a camera. All solar energy is used for the radio inside.)

No internet or cell service needed, radios communicate directly with each other and connect to your phone or device with Bluetooth to allow you to control everything with an app. It can be any old phone and does not need to have active service, just Bluetooth or WiFi.
The solar repeater acts as your "cell tower", boosting signals between handhelds for many extra miles of range (depending on terrain).
Private and encrypted channels (only your devices can see your messages.)
Bluetooth for local control (pair with your phone to send messages or update settings when nearby).
The solar camera unit doesn't have to be used as a repeater. It also functions the same as the handheld devices and can be used the same way as long as you stay within Bluetooth range.

(It is only a shell to disguise the radio repeater and solar charging system.) This set is for USA 915MHz use only.
No GPS included (You can share your phone’s GPS via Bluetooth when nearby. I find extra GPS modules to be unnecessary most of the time since you usually have your phone with the device. For stationary repeaters, you can input the coordinates once and it doesn't need to change since it doesn't move. GPS often just serves to drain your batteries when you don't really need it to get GPS functionality from your connected phone.)
Handhelds are not waterproof (but the repeater is fully sealed and is waterproof)
Bluetooth range is 30-100 ft. Used for communicating with your phone nearby.
LoRa is for long distance and can travel many miles.
Firmware is pre-loaded (Meshtastic or Meshcore)
Your choice, but all devices must be one or the other. Radios cannot communicate on different firmware networks.
All devices will include the default public channel. It allows for communication with anyone with a LoRa radio that's not in your private network unless you request it be removed.
You are able to change all channel and broadcast names/call signs as often as you like on your own.

Q: How far will this really reach?
With the repeater:
- Urban areas: 2-4 miles (buildings block signals)
- Open fields/from atop hills: 10+ miles (line of sight = best range)
- Without repeater: 4-10 miles (still better than most radios)
Q: What if I need to update the firmware later?
Easy!
- Handhelds: Plug into USB, update via computer.
- Repeater: Wireless OTA updates (no need to take it down!).
Q: Can I add more radios later?
Yes! Meshtastic networks scale easily, just add more devices to your private channels.
Q: What if I have setup questions?
