Room for Rent, long or short term, at house in NE Portland, OR w/ acre of land
Description
Looking for a temporary room or something longer term? We have an unfurnished room available now for the right person.
I am looking for a like minded person (Agorist, Ancap, Libertarian, anything in that realm will do) to rent a room in our house. Homesteading or handyman skills are a huge plus! We want someone who wants to help make our little oasis of freedom better, it's a big property and we need as much help as we can get. You are more than welcome to pay your rent in cash, Monero, or Bitcoin. Utilities are billed separately from the rent, we split them up equally. You would have access to internet, laundry, the kitchen, and if you wanted to do some gardening you could, we have an acre of land and are located in Northeast Portland off of Marine Dr., near the Jubitz Truck Stop.
-Rent is $600, and there is a security deposit of $600. The rental agreement is month to month.
-No dogs, other animals are accepted on a case by case basis.
-This is an older multiple bedroom house, you would be sharing it with 5 other people and 3 people who live on the property but not in the main house.
-We have off street parking.
-Bathroom is shared.
This is a relaxed, chill, and drama free environment with good people who are easy to live with. We like to keep it that way. If you do hard drugs or drink excessively, this isn't the place for you. It's not a party house, or a tweaker pad.
We have cats and one dog in the house, so you probably shouldn't have any allergies to pets. There are also occassional wildlife visitors including but not limited to skunks, opossums, racoons, coyotes, deer, moles, and a whole bunch of different birds.
It's kind of like living in a rural area, except you are in the city. Downtown is about 20 minutes away via car and we also have a bus line nearby (a half mile away), the number 6 bus which runs 7 days a week. Or the yellow line MAX is a mile away.
If you are interested we can set up a virtual showing or an in person showing. Usually we like to do a phone call or video chat first and then schedule an in person visit.
Privacy: I will respect your privacy, and will expect the same from you. I do look into people before I let them move in, (bonus points if anyone in the Monero community can vouch for you) but I never share any personal information about my tenants with any third parties.
