Description

TL;DR
This release contains a live Monero wallet with XMR locked inside a Memoro Vault.
The bounty grows by +1 XMR each month it remains unclaimed (max 12 XMR).
Break the vault, recover the seed, and the funds are yours.

The challenge exists to prove a point: if Memoro Vault can be cracked, it doesn’t deserve to be trusted. If it survives, it’s a serious option for securing Monero across generations.

Why Memoro Vault Matters

Most Monero users store their seed phrases on paper or metal plates in a safe. That works...until it doesn’t.

Safes can be broken into.

Paper can burn, get wet, or simply be misplaced.

Even if the seed survives, your family may not know how to use it when you’re gone.

Memoro Vault is designed to solve this problem.
It lets you create an encrypted “time capsule” that looks like an ordinary .zip file which should be redundantly stored. You set the questions only your family would know, in an order only you can define. If something happens to you, they can unlock the vault and access your Monero — without trusting a hardware wallet company, a cloud service, or a lawyer.

It’s boring on the outside, unbreakable on the inside, and doesn’t scream “crypto wallet” to anyone who stumbles across it.

The Bounty Challenge

A live Monero wallet is sealed inside this vault.

A view-only wallet is included so anyone can verify the balance.

First to crack it takes the coins.

If unclaimed after 12 months, the developer reclaims the seed and the challenge ends.

This bounty is proof by fire: if there’s a flaw, someone will find it. If not, you’ll know Memoro Vault is a tool strong enough to safeguard your family’s inheritance.

At the end of 12 months I will move the funds and release the correct answers to the vault to allow anyone to verify the authenticity of the bounty and the realistic nature of the questions and answers.
