I saw on github that someone claimed this is malware, so I decided to find out for myself. After running it in a VM, I didn't spot anything out of the ordinary. There is a function that is called a "nuke" function. It looks as though that clears the indexed db and local browser memory in the program to prevent the sensitive information from being stored in memory. I'm not claiming to be the ultimate code auditor, but the program didn't seem malicious.
Aside from the unfounded claims, I found this program to be useful. I had never considered my current seed storage to be "insecure" but am now reconsidering. Am curious to see where this project goes.

Also, I have received some feedback doubting the validity of the XMR stored within the bounty vault. I assure you, it's all there. However, in our space you shouldn't have to trust anyone. Don't trust, verify. With that in mind, does anyone have any ideas on how I can PROVE the status of the funds within the vault file? My only thought for now has been to screen record the entire process while blurring out the seed phrase. Any better ideas?
For anyone curious as to the status of the malware allegations, you can read about it here:

There is no malware and the code, while not perfect, will withstand scrutiny. All current allegations are unfounded.
