Bitcoin Miner by heart. Began dabbling in Monero the last year or so. Started smoking beef jerky a couple years ago because I could not find a healthy option easily. Additionally, I though it would be a good idea to make extra and donate most of the profits to my local Bitcoin meetup. I also got my kids involved in working for sats and managing a wallet. The goal at the time was not in search of revenue. It was to donate time and energy back to the community and support a circular economy of like minded people.
People kept asking for more so we continued to smoke and donate each time to open source projects or other entities with similar missions. Prior to the Samourai debacle I was Monero curios and people kept asking if I would consider accepting it for payment. Since then, we have scaled to accommodate demand but try to keep it to once a month. Now that we have the ability to offer more jerky we are tapping into the Monero community because the project and community are well aligned with our values.
With some help from a friend we setup a node and incorporated Monero payments into BTCPay Server. The whole venture is as circular as we can make it. The ingredients including the beef are purchased in BTC, kids are paid to help in BTC. Now we accept Monero and hope to tap into other communities who like to exchange XMR for goods and services.
I hope to connect with Monero users who value circular economies and quality goods and services.
Each smoke we donate a portion of the remainder back to the community. I am looking for good Monero projects to be able to give back to in the coming months. It is not much but it's something and it just feels right to continue to let it grow.
I am looking to obtain more technical knowledge about Monero by starting to accept and spend it in the community.

Beef Jerky. We have other trinkets available on the site on occasion like stamps, zippos, coasters, flasks, etc. We usually try to make enough to cover costs and be able to give away some items for events and fundraising. Can't wait to start having some Monero stamps and Zippos etched.
