Everything was smooth, only thing was that Amazon wish list does not show the tracking ID, needed to look at the “view source“ of the webpage by using (CTRL-U), and search for “trackingId“.

@m3c and I waited till the item was delivered to get paid.

Sketchy earners on purse would also purchase & ship the item, then recall it before delivery. Amazon will allow you to cancel the order while in transit. They'd ask you to release funds based on the tracking number (before delivery). So it was wise to wait until the product was in your hands.

I trust you Doug, but it sounds like a classic scam : ) "send me the XMR first". Is the escrow/arbitration functional yet? I'd be willing to send you the XMR if arbitration isn't working.

The old purse.io used to limit the transaction amount until you had a few successful transactions. More transactions allowed higher amounts. But they also held custody of the funds (they were the arbitrator).

I think the same would naturally apply here. People need to start with small amounts to build their reputation.

@Douglas, isn't that the purpose of the escrow? You both commit to the tx and lock up the monero until he receives the item, then he releases said XMR to you and the arbitrator decides who's malicious if there's any conflict.

I think posts like these can work well here on xmrbazaar but the accounts need to earn some trust first.
