**Youth of the Apocalypse** is an Orthodox Christian book co-authored by Justin Marler and Andrew Wermuth while they lived as monks in an Eastern Orthodox monastery on a remote island in Alaska. The tone of the book is raw, unflinching, and deeply rooted in Orthodox Christian theology. It channels the spirit of the well-known monastic Fr. Seraphim Rose, quoting him on suffering as an expression of God’s love and the necessity of enduring modern life’s "hell".
