How the Ploutos Escrow Workflow Operates:
1. Initiation via Marketplace:

2. Establish the Session Group:
Both counter-parties (Buyer and Seller) and the Ploutos desk enter a dedicated, encrypted Session group chat. This ensures all communication is completely private, zero-log, and isolated from public view.
3. Role & Terms Declaration:
Inside the Session group, the Buyer and Seller explicitly state their roles, responsibilities, and the exact deliverables of the trade using our binding terms format (specifying exact assets, prices, and proof of delivery). Once agreed upon, these terms are locked in and treated as binding protocol by the desk.
4. Vault Deposit & Fund Locking:
The Buyer deposits the agreed funds into the Thesaurus vault managed by Ploutos. Once the funds are verified and secured in the vault, the desk issues a green light for the seller to begin fulfillment.
5. Fulfillment & Handover:
The Seller executes the delivery of the asset, service, or digital goods while the desk monitors progress against the pre-agreed terms.
6. Final Settlement & Release:
Upon successful verification of the handover, Ploutos releases the funds from the vault to the Seller (minus the transparent desk escrow fee), concluding the secure transaction loop.
Strict Desk Rules & Safety Protocols:
- Pre-Agreement is Law: Terms cannot be renegotiated mid-stream once the vault is locked.
- The 12-Hour Timeout Clause: If a party goes silent or fails to act within a strict 12-hour window post-notice, the desk initiates a timeout review. Unresponsive parties forfeit positions per default rules.
- Zero Tolerance for Fraud: Attempted scams, fake proofs, or malicious interference result in immediate default rulings and collateral/funds forfeiture to protect the honest party.
- Network & Routing Finality: All payouts are net of miner/network fees, with a structural buffer retained for gas and routing finality.
