Tasting notes:

Crumbly yet creamy texture, intense taste, spicy to the palate and with hints of dried nuts and fruit
Absolutely the best for grating on your special pasta dishes, excellent as 'meditation' cheese combined with honey, chutneys, 12yo balsamic vinegar of Modena or some good old Port

What makes the cheese produced at 750m (~2500ft) above see level different, you might want to ask.
Well almost everything. The cows eat different types of grass, flowers and herbs. They are more active as they walk up and downhill. Therefor the milk of these cows of which the Parmigiano is made is of higher quality. Also the air quality in which the cheese is ripened for many months is different.

Weight may vary slightly, all pieces are hand cut and often a bit more than 1000 grams

Please note you can keep vacuumed Parmigiano Reggiano in your refrigerator for many months
