This is a ridiculous experience, but I'd like to report it.
I was sent a direct message by someone named ChannelNews, who directed me to a site called "https://monero.team/" and scammed me out of my XMR.
There may be other victims who have been scammed using this same method.

Hi, i would like to report a scam.

User DewFall had a listing up for buying XMR in exchange of a payment on PayPal. I paid 2.17XMR, DewFall insisted that i mark the transaction as paid when i sent it and i told him i'd like to wait to get paid since i'm taking a risk(major red flag) and that his account is relatively new(another red flag but this one's on me).

He was pretty active up until the point i mentioned that the XMR went thru.

Alright he replied back and i might've jumped a little too quick conclusion so i will keep updating my OP if nothing conclusive came out of this.

If i end up getting paid, i'll cancel my reply/confirm that nothing happened.

Edit: The user claims to need 100 confirmations before having access to any funds coming in which i think is just more reasons to think that this user is scamming me.

I had contact and made a deal with Vinnlucy.
Vinnlucy said that Sibar was the one that could help me and forwarded me to Sibar.
After buying from Sibar they broke all contact and did not reply to anything.

Order #5TKH, we have alot of messaged where everything is specified and where he say he will deliver. It was for 2 years of nord vpn, he first delivered 2 months and was going to deliver the 2 year after sorting some problems, he then started asking if i would accept PIA vpn. I said yes if it had some functions i needed, he then delivered Proton vpn without the needed functions and not what he asked if i was okay with. It has been over a month. Ive sent him the warning message

Details:

They contacted me on Session saying they could fulfill my listing. I initially agreed to direct payment but their profile name here is off, and they have only one 5-star review from the day I requested that they open an order on xmrbazaar. So I asked for the payment to be made through escrow, they refused. When I asked more questions to verify that they can fulfill my listing, they said those are private documents and began to contradict themself and tried to guilt me into paying

This happened over a few weeks as I was trying to get enough XMR for the order. I started to suspect that it was a scam two days ago, after I started to ask for some reassurance.

Scammers are always those who refuse escrow, not those who offer to use it.

situation: Bought XMR with Paypal via "friends and family". User requested address in messages after payment. First said "hold on let me check". When I checked in again in a while, the user said "I have having a slight delay. I have your address. I will send you there." I told them to send their transfer within the hour. That time passed. They are currently no longer responding.

I noticed after that the user's one positive review was from someone the same day the listing was created. I have yet to "mark as paid" but the amount was for 0 XMR, so I'm not sure what to do with that.

I can also privately provide an admin with the paypal address they used (if appropriate) in case they make further accounts.

I asked UltraDipper115 for TX Id and TX secret easy thing to do and she/he is bullshitting me. Got nothing. Could provide signature proof as well but I dont think this scammer knows how to do that.

Cant really verify now that I wiped my stack wallet. I think it could be stack wallet sucks. I did wait 3 days after he sent it though and no beans.

Guess we will give him benefit of doubt and just say Im the retard that choose stack wallet. Never got refund but I figure its just lost in outer space. No biggie Im over it. Im skeptic that it was refunded but got to give the guy benefit of the doubt I assume, because we are human and not animals.

IDEA/FEEDBACK: Maybe xmrbazaar can have a fast escrow and a slow escrow. The fast escrow can just pick from a pool or volunteer users on the site that are in a pre-approved pool as like a junior admin or sub-admin or something. They receive the payment, then manually forward it to the seller, and check box that it was actually sent. A legit or automated escrow service would be cool. Im not sure if theres anything anonymous like that and trust worthy in the xmr world but would be dope. That could setup XMRBAZ to do BIG things if people out their in crypto land now that there is a trusted escrow of good human folks.

AilliA: So for UltraDipper: he sent my TX ID and TX Key. I said to he/she: "i guess I will give you the benefit of the doubt because I have deleted my stack wallet at this time... guess we are done here". So even after he sent this I waited a few days and never got anything into my stack wallet. I assume the stack wallet is fucked. I guess I wont use stack wallet. Unless there is some other way to verify the TX ID and Key. But thats where we are at. Bye for now my god/godess (you are).
