because fuck conscription, fuck sexism, and fuck war.

Just because I was born male, something which I never found important and I could not control, society saw nothing in me but disposable flash paper to light fuses to fire cannons at the whims of the few. I was subject to male-only mandatory conscription, which made me paralysingly anxious, suicidal, and caused me gender dysphoria, among other physical and mental disorders that followed.

Conscription has completely ruined my life and fucking nobody is taking any responsibility for it, for all they do is take lightly of me and my situation. I am far behind everyone else in life. All I want to do is STUDY the stuff I want without anyone bothering me, without anyone sending letters in my name to tell me to die just because of what I have in my pants. IS THAT TOO FUCKING HARD TO DO?

I transitioned MtF not to escape conscription, but out of principle. I did not want to be treated as a disposable cannon fodder to die in wars. I wanted society to finally see value in me as a human being, not as a stoic rock. I wanted to have an identity to disassociate to, in times of trauma. And also to alleviate that gender dysphoria caused by conscription. But in the end, it caused me to hate myself even more.

I've recovered to a small extent, but far from completely. Conscription has ultimately left me in a world with less to look forward to, both within and outside myself. I have detransitioned (MtFtM) and saved money instead of buying HRT or continuing gender transition. The money I've saved, I'd like to slowly donate to charitable causes against conscription, because no men or AMABs should ever have to suffer from anxiety or gender dysphoria from conscription ever again.

I'm not an activist. I'm just a detrans conscription survivor, who suffered real pain, trying to heal and help others heal too.
