Privacy by Generating Random Traffic
Description
Protect Your Privacy by Generating Random Traffic
This is a Linux AppImage that can be run directly from the terminal without requiring installation. Additionally, I can customize the app to access specific websites (such as eBay, Amazon, BBC, Fox News, etc.) instead of random ones should you prefer
Imagine someone is watching your internet activity—maybe a hacker, an advertiser, or even an internet provider.
Normally, they can see what websites you visit and when, allowing them to build a profile about you.
Random_Traffic helps stop this by generating ..well .. random web traffic, making it impossible for anyone to tell which sites you actually care about.
How It Works:
It visits random websites from a list, just like a normal person browsing the internet.
It clicks on random links within those websites, jumping from page to page.
It waits a random amount of time before loading the next page, mimicking human behavior.
It uses latest different browser identities (User-Agents) for each visit.
Why This Protects You:
Confuses trackers – If someone is trying to watch your browsing habits, they will see a mess of random traffic instead of your real interests.
Disrupts profiling – Advertisers and hackers won’t be able to build an accurate profile on you.
Masks real activity – Your actual browsing gets hidden in the noise, making it much harder for anyone to figure out what you’re doing online.
Think of It Like This:
If you whisper in an empty room, someone can hear and understand you. But if you whisper in a crowded, noisy cafe, your words get lost in the background noise. Random_Traffic is that background noise for your internet activity.
This is not about hacking or hiding illegal activity—it’s simply about making online tracking useless so your privacy is protected.

Regarding https://github.com/madereddy/noisy -
The config.json file is only 6 months old. Most of the user agents are up to date. But I support the selling of a customizable list to keep the monero circular economy going.
