As an alternative, they offered a SEPA bank transfer. However, they claimed that my IBAN was "too long," which is incorrect, so the transfer was never completed.
I then gave the seller a final deadline until 12:00 to either send the refund or issue it in XMR instead. Since then, the seller has stopped responding and has not replied to any further messages.
