The fact that one single person can keep spamming the forum and important threads people follow is proof we need rate limiters, checks and balances, temporary blockers, cooling of periods and stuff like that for individual accs to prevent forum abuse. Easto22 scammed me. I was paying him Monero to buy me something that only accepts FIAT. We agreed on $30. I paid it directly. He then told me he would need $90-something to do the transaction. I declined. He agreed to a refund. He said he wasn't home and couldn't send it now, but would in 3-4 hours. It's been 9 hours and I haven't heard from him. Based on the scammy behavior, I'm sure I won't but I'll update if I do. I have my TXID and screenshots of the conversation if needed.

Why? Just so that I know you have also committed and I won't come there for no reason. When we do meet, the half will be returned to you, because I'm responsible for my own travel."

then:
"I am not saying they are your responsibility, I'm saying,
1) I will buy the ticket
2) you'll pay me half( so that I don't waste time and come there for nothing )
3) when we meet up, the first thing is pay that half back to you ( if we end up not meeting because of you the half is lost) then we do the transaction"
