TL;DR: I paid TheAC $855 for a purchase. Payment failed & money returned to his account. He said he won't refund me unless I paid him extra, because “it's not his responsibility”. Having coped with the barrage of insults & pressure from him, a month and a half later, I managed to convince him to refund at least $655 — he kept $200 as a "fee". Avoid any business with TheAC.
** FULL STORY
(I have all the screenshots & proofs to support it.)
I used TheAC's proxy paying service to buy something on Vinted. I paid him in crypto, and he paid €767.19 (~$855) in fiat. The payment went through a bank account registered in another person's name, which I was not told about upfront. The Vinted seller didn't ship, the order was cancelled, and Vinted refunded the money.
Then TheAC claimed that the bank account got closed. He said he had recovered around $4,000 from it, but my money "probably" wasn't among it. I obtained an official confirmation from Vinted that the €767.19 was successfully refunded to his account. He dismissed it and insisted on waiting for bank statements, which a third person had to collect in person. That turned into 1.5 months of "not yet".
In his words, getting my own money back was my problem, not his: “you say refunds are my responsability but I think it's not”, “It's your fault you paid for a product it was not available” and “is not my fucking fault” are direct citations. He also has claimed refunding this will cost extra, since he “doesn't work for free”.
He also made it clear he only bothered with the statements because he needed them himself: “you're lucky I don't need these statements for you only... :))”, “otherwise there would not be any way in the world I would've paid for these”.
When I said I might raise the issue on XmrBazaar, he threatened me: “If you gonna do any sort of harm to me, you won't see any assitence from me to get this back, no statements, no notihng! so be careful what you're doing next, and what you are saying”. Also: “I won't release it without the fee even if I get banned from XmrBazaar”, and “if it escalets, I will increase the fee for the trouble you make me”.
There were also lots of harsh insults and mockery: “after all the time and money I had to spend becauseo of your shit”, “your attitude is discusting.”, “if you just stop being a bich about a mistake you made”, “I just feel you can't wait to get this money and then fuck off with me”, “Let's see if you really are this chirstian type whatever you portray yourself”, “I do not have time for this shit anymore”, and much more.
Now, coming to the "fee". He announced: “I won't release it without a 200$ fee for the money I had to pay and for the time I had to waste”. (He said himself he'd never have paid for the statements if he didn't need them for his own purposes — I don't see how I am responsible for paying for them now).
After 1.5 months of delays, threats and insults, I've agreed on the 200$ fee solely to secure at least part of my money. I told him that if this went public, I would demand the full amount. His answer: “You can escalate anywhere you want”.
So, he then sent $655 instead of $855. (As in @Sammy's case, he claimed he paid it “from his own pocket”.) Now, to be transparent: we also have had an agreement, that if the bank statements show the refund never reached his account, I will help him recover these 655$ I've received. I stand by that promise.
⚠️ UPDATE: despite numerous publicly given promises to provide a refund the rest when he would confirm receiving the money back — once he did, he publicly refused to issue a refund. While in @Sammy's case this seller has openly claimed he will try to disrupt the delivery of his goods "in revenge" for opening a dispute (see this on the forum in "scam reports" thread.)

A quick summary (as you can see in our private chat):
1 In response to his threats, I asked him to be reasonable and wait for a full refund considering this mess was his mistake (and if not, sure not mine, and sure I didn't do anything wrong to deserve to pay 855$) and considering we had history (I did dozens of payments and processed dozen of refunds for him).
2 In continuation to his threats I told him in a moment of anger that if he makes me lose more (time and money) with this considering it was his mistake (and if not, sure not mine), he will pay for it. 200$ was a random anger number to motivate him to not go that route.
3. His request was to give him 655$ and me to keep 200$. I instead said I will only hold this as a deposit that I will return if he helps me get the other 655$ if needed after everything gets sorted out otherwise I will just send that also when I get this refund. I STILL INSISTED ONE LAST TIME FOR HIM TO WAIT FOR THE FULL REFUND INSTEAD.
4. Next day he went and did all this extortion (check what he presented in his review compared to what is in our private chat and what it was proven so far), breaking our point 3 agreement and triggering the one in number 2.
⛔️ If the administration does not care enough too carefully and with depth handle this case, then I have to handle it myself: EXTORTION CANNOT WIN OR BE ENCOURAGED.
⚠️ I'd be cautious to fully trust him. All that "helping people with the Bible" and "donations for causes" seem social engineering considering his true personality: blackmail, manipulation, revenge, extortion, lying, etc
✅ I NEVER EVER ASKED FOR A FEE TO PROCESS REFUNDS, AID I WILL NEVER DO. + I DID GIVE BACK ALL THE REFUNDS I EVER RECEIVED.
Most items arrived. 3 did not.
I received refunds for 2 of the items that did not arrive. He says that he paid for one of the items (at a value of $15) out of his own pocket because of some issue with getting the company to refund him. He was not able to prove he was the owner of the card used in the purchase.
1 item valued at $55 did not arrive.
aka_TheAC found the tracking records and sent me the link. It showed that the product was never delivered and returned. TheAC refused to take the time to resolve this last issue and take responsibility for his end of things. I lost $55.
He seems to be under a lot of stress as a significant part of his messages contain complains about not having enough time. He is not professional in this way.
He also says he has health problems, seems under slept and undernourished based on what he writes.
The tracking link shows that the package was delivered but not picked up and sent back. I told him I don't have the time for now to help him even if he pays me, especially that this should not be my responsibility (by the way he expects a multinational corporation support from my free service). But I did look into his issue anyway. I'm shocked to see this review (I haven't logged in here for some time).
He makes assumptions for why I had to pay one of it's refunds from my own pocket (I paid him more than what he paid me for both refunds by the way)
And in the end not having much time or having health issues is another reason to deserve a 1 start review I guess (otherwise why he would mention it?).
THE CONCLUSION: he tries to harm me to make me work for him for a problem that should not be my responsibility and when I never refused to work for him (I only told him I can't right now even if he would pay, but I did look into things anyway for him FOR FREE).
Not my favorite person to work with on a social level.
