Scam reports to XmrBazaar Admin for investigation

Reported user: EuroNOVA https://xmrbazaar.com/user/EuroNOVA/
Date: Jul 16, 2026
Details:

He allegedly scammed “cyborgx1337.” If you scroll down to the review section, you’ll see a 1-star review. I also spoke with cyborgx1337, who said they were scammed by him for €340. Unfortunately, cyborgx1337 didn’t report him on the forum.

Wouldn’t this be enough to require bond insurance from EuroNOVA? I understand there’s no solid evidence beyond the 1-star review, but the account already appears to have been built up with 60 fake reviews. So at some point, an unaware buyer may come to the Bazaar and be scammed.

Based on the amount of money invested in the profile, this looks like a likely exit scam in the range of €1,000–€2,000. The user also frequently boosts listings and has donated 0.1+ XMR to receive a badge. It feels like the only thing left is time before this happens.

cyborgx1337 hasn’t been online for a while, so I don’t know how you spoke to him.
Also, it’s PayPal. They are chargeback friendly. They will reverse your funds for nearly anything.
It’s hard to believe that one would get scammed over a PayPal transaction, and if they did, they just need to cry to paypal about it.

A few days after this happened, I spoke with him and suggested he report the issue on the forum, but he never did. It doesn’t matter that it was PayPal. PayPal—crypto trades are often handled as “friends and family,” which can’t be charged back. I don’t understand why people keep defending EuroNOVA. His profile looks completely fake: check the like count on his listing and the reviews. In a while, you’ll remember my words.

- Username is almost identical (SlowBaerDigger vs SlowBearDigger)
- Account created July 2026
- 0 reviews, 0 trades, no listings, empty profile

XmrBazaar, you continue to make a joke out of yourselves, and somehow you seem to be promoting the scammers, pardon me for using a very fresh account, but this is to avoid being targeted I will give a few examples

How are the following people best sellers
https://xmrbazaar.com/user/snex/ --- only 4 completed trades
https://xmrbazaar.com/user/USAGI/---only 16 completed trades
https://xmrbazaar.com/user/SoulReaver/---only 2 completed trades
https://xmrbazaar.com/user/MiCocco/---only 3 completed trades

I wont keep searching coz I'm sure there are plenty more, are these people bribing you to make them top sellers ? Because it clearly defies logic how you have given this badge, which will lead to newcomers trusting the above accounts on the basis of your badges. How easy will it be for them to plan exit scams ? You need to be more serious, this is such a joke

The criteria for the badge are too low. It is like giving black belt to someone who is 3rd time on training.

I don't think we have reliable metric here to measure who is top seller. If we use sales or reviews count for that purpose then it would favor services that generate a lot of sales/reviews, but they might have low cash volume e.g. one merchant sold 500 telegram accounts getting 500 sales and 500$ profit while another merchant completed 1 year IT project getting 1 sale and 50,000$ profit.

Good metric to measure who have bigger dick would be generated financial volume, but it is too easy to fake, because you can write any amount into inputs without any verification. It would also require different thresholds per sale category which would be pain to develop with this market model.

Best idea that currently comes into my mind would be hand picking top sellers by admin. That would be probably easiest and most reliable for anonymous market,

Also have to be aware that recorded stats may not necessarily paint a full picture.

There are multiple steps to completing a trade, and some people may simply not finish pressing completad trade. If there is no escrow which it seems happens a lot, there may even be no trade stated let alone left hanging.

What if you have to earn the right to have a direct trade, I mean, say you have a bond, like CamyIopez, who has his 5XMR just sitting on XmrBazaar, then people can open a direct trade with you. The rest, escrow must be mandatory, the privilege to get a direct trade must be earned, you'll realise scammers will have it hard if that were the case, and having to create new accounts after a scam won't help. Also, seeing from this thread, AilliaA has been doing a tremendous job, but wouldn't it help to have either Soulreaver or Easterncapybara to assist, I mean, target has been exceeded, so even an extra .5 xmr monthly paid to them shouldn't hurt.

Top Seller ≠ highest sales volume.
No public metric will ever be published: once known, it can be gamed.
But it is based on authenticity (as USAGI correctly noted) and broader reputation (including outside XmrBazaar).

So, someone new comes onto the site, they see someone with 2 trades, and he is called a top seller, and they should just run with it? Why do you even take donations from people if you want to run this site like a dictatorship? Your stupid ego, will unfortunately be your downfall, I hope you are using that 77XMR wisely, because yeah, you do take people for granted

Another example,
You mentioned new users creating listings for buying/selling xmr will have a potential scam warning on their site, unless they pay a bond,

This particular user,

https://xmrbazaar.com/user/LightningMcQueen/

Got the warning, now he's back, warning removed, but there is no update on whether he paid the bond or not. Tbh, I wouldnt care a bit if you hadn't accepted donations from people, but you did. So can you explain why he no longer has the scam warning? And why his listing is available even though he paid no bond? Are you accepting payments under the table ? Are you corrupt? I swear if I were to devote my time to this, I'd write some issue every hour. Be transparent, period

"Top seller" is probably the wrong label. I don't sell anything here. I am just somebody who is well known and a public figure that has developed trust both on and off the platform. Call me "verified" or something like that.

If you want to include stats from outside XmrBazaar, you have to clearly show where the stats are coming from, someone came here and impersonated Camylopez and scammed people, because there was no authentication of any sort. There are thousands of traders with good reputation, and if the reputation is not properly imported, how easy is it for scammers to go and farm for good traders info and come to use it here. And another thing, be open to criticism, denying everything and trying to seem correct is pathetic to say the least. Members have been patient with you. You promised to release the source code if you met donation goal, you did, then went mute on that, you're now probably a bigger scammer than the small fish we see here, because scamming is obtaining financial advantage by deception, and can you say we are wrong when we say you deceived us by coercing us to donate in the hope that we'd be able to contribute to the source code

If the metric will never be published, does that mean you’ll never release the project as open source?

Since the “top seller” feature needs to be in the source code, am I right to assume you won’t publish the code?

And what’s the point of the “top seller” badge now, given that about 95% of people have already received it?

LightningMcQueen no longer has a warning because they agreed to restrict themself to Escrow-only listings (no direct-payment options) for the time being. They can either continue under that restriction or get a bond later if they want to unlock direct-payment listings.

But you are literally going against your own words, you said paying bond was the condition, what if he talks people into trading outside escrow? What scammers want is initiation right ? You yourself, AilliA, stated that the only way for the scam warning to be removed was if bond was paid. If he was a serious enough traders, how can't he afford bond ? Provided it's refundable? Transparency shouldnt be very hard to achieve, but you and Doug are making a mess of it, esp considering you conveniently avoid answering questions about the source code, sorry to say, you may be on a different dimension, but such actions amount to scamming

What's up? What problem do you have AnonymousHorse?? And how many different profiles do you created here already ;-)

I got warning because I didn't know about the rules. Now I know - AilliA explained me everything.

We have either use Escrow-only listings or pay bonds or both. I use listing without direct payment (scammers don't do that usually).

Bond no problem I will pay once there will be a good reason to do that e.g. some reasonable customer appears - not yet another dumb scammer just wasting time.

Cheers

My main account has enough trades to make you green with envy, but I created this account to say what I want to say without fear of being targeted in the future. And I've donated a ton as well, unlike you who can't even pay refundable bond, tbh, my mind is pushing me towards a money under the table scheme, which unfortunately I can't prove
