What's up? What problem do you have AnonymousHorse?? And how many different profiles do you created here already ;-)

I got warning because I didn't know about the rules. Now I know - AilliA explained me everything.

We have either use Escrow-only listings or pay bonds or both. I use listing without direct payment (scammers don't do that usually).

Bond no problem I will pay once there will be a good reason to do that e.g. some reasonable customer appears - not yet another dumb scammer just wasting time.

I am and always have been against treating adult people as babies: they have free will and want a free market, so they must accept full p2p responsibility if they want a circular economy without daddy government, corporations, and surveillance/IP logging. You behave as if you want decentralized treatment... but with a central point of reimbursement for other people's failures.
I'm starting to feel that my free-will / free-market mindset is not (or soon won't be) a good fit for this platform. People like me are good for starting things, but (from organizational life-cycle theory) often bad for the maturing stage. I always knew it...

As far as I know, the claim that the source code only had to be published after a donation goal was reached doesn’t hold up here—it wasn’t published then.

The way some people argue that you “need the right license first” feels like an excuse to delay. In my view, you don’t even need to spend time on licensing details right now because the project is already established in the Monero community, and any attempt to clone it would get boycotted.

Also, publishing the source code is basically quick: you can make it public in about ten minutes by pushing it to a repo and setting that repo to public. You don’t even need a programmer to do that.

I second that, since you cannot police the site 24/7, I believe you must make it a privilege to be able to make direct trades, new accounts with 0 trades are an obvious must. That way even if the scammer is going to try and do trades by themselves, they will lose escrow money etc, which they are unlikely to do, set it at maybe 20 trades, before an account can set up direct trades

I do not understand how you got him as a mediator ? I sware the guy had like 175 good review so I let my guard down. And now just after sending the money to the escrow, the profil is now reset.

I thought mediators was being selected but apparently the escrow system is still not worth it.

And we didn't complete the escrow since it was not working (neither the real mediator was online and the scammer didn't ever connected to it). He just blame it on escrow technical difficulties, send me a fake screenshot of his escrow showing the address to sent to. I tried to restore the escrow myself to see if the address was correct but couldn't, so thinking of all his reviews just trusted him.
I just had to click on the user icon in chat to see it was a scam. About 3xmr lost. Anyway...

I’ve been through something similar myself; someone had impersonated AilliA. Of course, back then there weren’t any verification icons anything like that on Messenger or banning profiles. It’s not so much the loss that surprises you, but how you fell into this trap. What’s more, he later said he’d changed his mind and, talking about karma, said he wanted to return the money and asked for 3–4 dollars. What sort of scammer would go after 3–4 dollars when they’ve already made off with hundreds of dollars? I wonder if it’s the same people scamming people? Is it just one person, or is it an organisation?

Nobody seems to care about your loss, this is the fault of the site, once again.

There was 7 security holes, only one is partly corrected (without the legend of the new icons in the messenger, they are useless, how a user should know them?).
It remains 6 vulnerabilities leading always to the same type of scam.

Admins should not manage a website, this site is a joke, giving money to the scammers and blaming the victims for not knowing all the subtleties.

There's even still no link to profiles on https://xmrbazaar.com/search-mediators/
Scammers just have to say "look my nickname is on the list". How users are supposed to compare with the real profile?

Suspend your site, correct your 7 holes, then come back online. Be a minimum responsible.

Hi, I bought a proxy shop service from this user:

I needed to send to a specific locker service so nobody I found in the listings section was supporting that, so I tried to ask via messages to sellers and this guy replied promptly that he could work with me.

The thing is, he said this:

"i operate on anonymousity i’ll create that provate listing just for you so your review remains anonymous"

so in the end I decided to try anyway, I know I should always use an order/listing, but there were none saying they supported my country/locker...

That was back on August 11th, I sent the XMR to his address and he said he was gonna do the thing, but then ever since August 13th he stopped replying to me... While on the website it said every day that he was "online today".

Not sure what happened or if it's a scammer, but at least potential scammer, let's see if he replies back or not... though it's already been 4 days of silence plus 2 since order...

The seller replied to my messages after you set the scam warning, asking to remove my report as they claim that the item was delivered to the locker this morning. They first gave me a fake/totally wrong tracking number, it even had "MOCK" in the code (?), then after I said it was not the format of this locker's tracking number they sent me what looks like a crafted/AI-generated screenshot even with a broken link and to the wrong website of the locker... (from the wrong country)

So then after a while they gave me via chat a pin to claim the parcel and a tracking number in the correct format, but that doesn't work at all (no item found). They said QR code not necessary to claim the parcel (which is true but I wanted to check it).

So I asked if I could see the other message where they claimed that they sent this info separately because the one they shared didn't even have the pin or QR code to claim the parcel and they said it was delivered in a separate email.

They sent me this other "email" screenshot on simplex and they deleted the first one they sent. This time at least they fixed the screenshot and the message was actually in the correct language and link was correct. Too bad I've been using this locker service and the messages they send you look nothing like this. It even had a QR code inline, that doesn't work at all when scanned, in the new screenshot they sent, although both screenshots were actually clearly normal phone app messages and NOT emails! (Also funny that as probably the AI generated a translated version of the "message" this time in the correct country service website and language they also translated literally the whole UI of the "phone" represented in the screenshot!)

The messages also have clear inconsistencies like they say arrived august 17th in the morning, 72h to claim the parcel, and in the other line of the same message it literally says you can claim it until august 20th until 23:59 which is more than 72h (4 days vs 3 days). Doesn't really matter though since this is not the real message format anyway for how this locker operates...

I guess I will still try to go to the locker they said and try to use the pin they gave me.

I want to share my experience so others can make their own decision before buying or from this seller hiddenbb

He is advertising Claude Max 20x as a 6 month package for around $1600. The problem is that Claude Max is normally sold month by month, not as an official 6 month subscription. That immediately raised concerns for me, because if he is unable to provide the service after one or two months, the buyer has already paid for six months upfront.

In my case, my Claude Max 20x access was suspended, and I then had problems getting my refund. I was kept waiting for around 10 days, and the whole situation was handled very poorly.

I’m not going to directly call anyone a scammer, but in my opinion selling something as a “6-month plan” when no official 6 month Claude Max plan exists, combined with delayed refunds and unreliable service, is extremely concerning and resembles scam like behavior.

I would personally not do business with him again, and I recommend that anyone considering this offer be very careful and ask exactly how the six months are guaranteed before paying.

And be careful to use Carded Claude accounts and take the risk to lose all your projects and conversations.
